Pleasant View is one of Utah's higher end real estate markets and as many higher end markets have suffered during the economic recession, so has the Pleasant View market. In 2010 there were a total of 78 homes sold while in 2009 there were 86 total sales, a decrease of 9.4%.
As home sales decline, so do average sold prices, normally. But in 2010 the average sale price was $300,431 while in 2009 the average sold price for homes in Pleasant View was $293,457. An increase of 2.4%.
Odd? Yes, but we can contribute that jump due to the most expensive home sold in Pleasant view in 2010 was priced at $912,000 while the most expensive home in 2009 was $700,000.
