Located In Northern Utah
Cache Junction is located just south of Newton and north of Petersboro on the west side of Cache County supporting a population of just over 30 people. Cache Junction was once the hot spot for transporting goods on the railroads between Ogden, UT and Pocatello, ID. There are a very few remnants of Cache Junctions past popularity, but you can still make out a few railroad buildings as you mosey along the outskirts of civilization.
Local Information
There isn't much for housing in the Cache Junction area, however, you can still find plenty of fields to produce a fine crop with Cache Valley's superb soil. Most of the landscape is covered in Alfalfa, wheat, and corn in the summer months, with a few snowmobile and snow shoeing trails in the winter months. Some favorite past times of Cache Junction residents is moving pipe in the summer, clearing paths through the cold January snow, and gazing at starry skies during local fourth of July celebrations.
