Average Days on Market for Brigham City residential real estate in 2010 from 01/01-10/31/2010 is: 105

Average days on market in October dropped drastically from September 2010. This means that homes were selling quickly in October 2010 in the Brigham City market.  Homes are taking about the same amount of time to sell in October 2010 as they did in January 2010. Average market time for a home is around 3-6 months.

2010 Average Sold Price

Average sold price for Brigham City residential real estate in 2010 from 01/01-10/31/2010 is: $140,710

The October 2010 Brigham City Real Estate market has seen an 8% increase in the average sold price from the previous month. The prices peeked in June during the First Time Buyer tax Credit, and at the end of the summer buying season. It is always a good sign when the average sold price goes up. It’s a great indication that more expensive homes are selling.

This was during the 2010 First Time Home Buyer Tax Credit, and buyers were trying to get in a home before the deadline. The rest of the year seems to be fairly consistent in the number of homes sold every month.

The average price per square foot through October 31, 2010 was $71.00. The price per square foot has remained steady for most of the year. It peeked at the beginning of the summer buying season.
